This Sulawesi Organic Rantekarua coffee originates from the historic Rantekarua Estate in South Sulawesi’s Tana Toraja Regency. After years of neglect, the 3,000-acre estate was revitalized in 1987 under PT Sulotco Jaya Abadi, emphasizing sustainable practices and land conservation. Over 500 acres have been restored to natural forest, and coffee cultivation relies exclusively on organic inputs, including manure from over 2,000 grazing sheep. Harvested cherries are carefully processed at the Bolokan valley facility, where they undergo soaking, flotation sorting, and slow drying on raised beds to preserve quality. The estate’s integrated approach—from cultivation to hand-sorted milling and export—ensures exceptional traceability and premium coffee quality.
